COROT
The scientific programme is centered on the Search for Extrasolar Planets
and on the Detection of Stellar Oscillations. It is the first space mission
of this type. COROT has been launched by CNES on 27 December 2006.

DENIS
The DENIS project (A DEep Near Infrared Southern Sky Survey) is the first
tentative to digitally map the sky at large-scale. The goal is to
survey astronomical sources in 3 photometric bands
(I = 0.85, J = 1.25 et Kshort = 2.15 microns)
with a spatial resolution of the order of an arcsecond and
limiting magnitudes I = 18, J = 16 and K = 14.
