Detection of extrasolar planets photons : the steps to Darwin/TPF mission

Darwin/TPF space mission will be able to detect extrasolar planets, particularly telluric planets, and to spectroscopically analyse their atmosphere. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to reach several stages. In this talk, I will review the various key-technology developments, gound-based and space projects in progress or to come and wich will allow Darwin/TPF to be a success.
