Constraints on transport processes in A and F main sequence stars in open clusters
Richard Monier
We have undertaken a programme aiming at deriving abundance of several chemical elements in main sequence
A and F stars in several open clusters of various ages. The incentive is twofold: i) search for evolution
with time of a number of key-elements and ii) set constraints on transport processes thought to
occur in the radiative envelopes of these stars.

Abundance determination in the post-AGB star HD 56126
Richard Monier, Agnes Lebre, Sivarani Thirupathi
A series of time resolved echelle spectra obtained with ELODIE have been used to
derive chemical abundances in the post-AGB star, HD 56126. The effective temperature has been derived
from the spectral energy distribution and the surface gravity by fiting synthetic spectra
to lines sensitive to pressure. The problem of selecting lines suitable to abundance determination
in the atmosphere of this pulsating star is discussed and results for C, N, O
and other elements will be presented.
