The upgraded Nancay Radiotelescope (NRT) is open to the international community since January 1st, 2001. Observations of spectral lines and continuum emissions can be performed in the frequency band 1.1-3.5 GHz with two receivers. In addition to the normal observation programs, which are scheduled each semester (many of them being surveys of large numbers of sources or monitoring programs), long term key programs are conducted (Kinematics of the Local Universe, millisecond pulsar timing, OH maser polarization in late-type stars, 18-cm lines studies in comets). On-going technical developments concern the mitigation with Radio Frequency Interferences (blanker, Fourier Transform spectrometers) and dedicated backends for pulsar observations.
