Presentation 1 : Oral
The relativistic jets of XTE J1550-564
(PCHE)
S. Corbel
XTE J1550-564 is one of the only few transient black hole candidates,
for which multiple outbursts have been observed (1998-99, 2000, 2001,
2002). We will present the results of a campaign of multiwavelength
observations including ATCA (radio), VLT (optical) and Chandra (X-ray)
in order to highlight the behaviour of the large scale relativistic
jets of XTE J1550-564 over the past four years. Comparison with AGN
jet models will be discussed.
