Formation
de H2O dans les conditions du milieu interstellaire
We studied the formation
of water on dust grain analogs using isotopically labeled atomic hydrogen and
oxygen beams. We detect the formation of water and intermediate products. As
dust analogs, we used amorphous silicate films; for comparison, experiments
done on a single crystal silicate were also carried out. The samples were
characterized by in-situ infrared spectroscopy and ex-site atom force
microscopy. Implications of these results on the formation of water in ISM
environments will be discussed.
