Notes for Lalande 21185
by
Jean Schneider
update: 5 December 1997
The planet(s):
- Detection method: optical astrometry at the
MAP
(Multichannel Astrometric Photometer)
- Comments: Astrometric curve not published
At the
Planets beyond the Solar System Conference (Baltimore 16 Oct. 1996)
G. Gatewood has shown astrometric residuals indicating a ~ 30 y.
drift
with 7 sigmas (M = 1.6 MJ)
and a 2 sigmas wobble with a ~ 6 y.
period (M = 0.9 MJ). The systematic errors are not known.
