- M: ~ (0.4 - 1.51 Earth mass
- Semi-major axis: either ~1.5 AU or
~ 2.3 AU (projected on the sky)
- Orbital period: ?
- Eccentricity: ?
- Remarks:
- 7 March 2001; "The probability for explaining the data on MACHO
98-BLG-35 without a planet is <1%." (Bond et al., 2001)
- The lensing method does not provide orbital elements.
This is not a repeatable observation..
- 14 january 1999: the
PLANET team
is proceeding an independent analysis of its own data on this event.
- Rhie et al 1999 give in their preprint a 4.5 sigmas significance level
based on ~ half a dozen data points.
